The research centre unites the effort of researchers in ten Québec universities to reach a significant critical mass with the following objectives:
Establish joint strategy to improve academic liaisons
- Accelerate technology transfer to industries
- Establish joint R&D programs and undertake major joint projects
- Exchange expertise and share knowledge
- Facilitate the mobility of researchers & exchange research personnel
- Exchange graduate students and establish student internships
- Share resources and major infrastructures
- Co-organize international events
- Join forces to obtain major international funds and grants
